Agapedia
Our social work in the region

What does Agapedia do?

The K19 Children's Center is a contact point for children and young people of all origins, nationalities and religions and offers disadvantaged children between the ages of six and twelve special extracurricular activities in the afternoons - whether sports, games, creative workshops and children's circus: the K19 promotes children's social skills and self-confidence and supports their positive development. The children's center is run by the AGAPEDIA Foundation, which was founded by Jürgen Klinsmann in 1995 and is active in Germany and Eastern Europe.

Cooperation with Exertis AV

The cooperation between the AV/IT distributor Exertis AV (formerly COMM-TEC) from Uhingen and the K19 Children's Center in Geislingen, which has been in place since September 2021, is designed as a long-term partnership and is intended to support the children's center with regular donations throughout the year.  The "Exertis with a heart" fundraising campaign was launched at Christmas 2021: The children at K19 wanted a new spiral slide and Exertis Pro AV, together with other donors, turned their wish into a reality to make the children happy.

Donation check
Rainer Sprinzl, Managing Director DACH Exertis Pro AV, and Mike Hommel, Head of Marketing at Exertis Pro AV, visited the children's center in person for the first official handover of donations and presented a cheque for €5,000
