Gefen EXT-HDVGA-3G-SC – HDMI & VGA to 3G-SDI Scaler/Converter for 1080p Full HD

The Gefen EXT-HDVGA-3G-SC converts and scales HDMI and VGA video signals to 3G-SDI or HD-SDI, supporting resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) and 1080p60. HDMI or analog L/R audio is directly embedded into the SDI stream, making it ideal for live productions or broadcast setups.

The intuitive On-Screen Display (OSD) simplifies configuration and operation. The scaler supports LPCM 7.1 audio, offers aspect ratio controls, and includes a built-in test pattern generator. Firmware updates and EDID management are handled via Gefen Syner-G™ Software. With a locking power input (6–24 V DC) and surface-mountable design, the unit suits both mobile and fixed AV installations.
