M4250 Serie - Fully Managed Switches

The NETGEAR AV Line M4250 Series was designed with input from AV professionals. The result is a series designed from the ground up to support 1Gb audio and video over IP with custom hardware and software along with dedicated service and support.

The M4250 series ranges from 8 to 48 ports with a variety of PoE+ and Ultra90 PoE++ options. In addition, there are uplink options with 1G for audio installations or standalone video installations, as well as 10G uplinks for larger video deployments. The M4250 series also includes 12-port multi-gigabit Ethernet and 16-port 1G/10G fibre models for plug-and-play aggregation in a fully automated star topology.

Designed for clean integration into traditional rack-mounted AV equipment, the M4250 switches feature a sleek, black display panel with front panel status indicators and all cabling, plus additional status indicators on the rear. Reverse mounting is possible if ports are desired on the front of the rack. A second pair of rackmount brackets allows recessed mounting of the switches.

Software-controlled fan settings allow the fans to be turned off when the ambient temperature and PoE loads are suitable for completely fanless operation. Threaded holes on the bottom and front allow universal mounting options even outside the rack.

M4300 Features

The M4300 stackable L3 managed switch series is available with 40G, 10G and 1G models in various form factors including PoE+. The M4300 switch series offers IPv4/IPv6 services for mid-enterprise edge and SMB core with mixed stacking between 40-, 10- and 1-gigabit models. Layer 3 feature set includes static and policy-based routing, RIP, VRRP, OSPF and dynamic PIM routing. The M4300 is ideal for server aggregation, wireless access, unified communications and video-over-IP.
