Professional DVB tuner for radio and television

COMM-TEC is very pleased to announce the latest generation in
our long series of successful ProTUNE models, the ProTUNE III.

The ProTUNE III is available in two versions: as a dual satellite tuner
(DVB-S/S2) and a dual cable and terrestrial tuner (DVB-C / T).
It has an HDMI output with parallel stereo analog sound available.
One of the two tuner modules is supplying the program for the HDMI out.
The second tuner module provides its signal to a USB interface for recording.

in digital signal transmission. HDMI and DVI support a maximum cable length of 5 m for high resolution signals.

This fact severely limits the practical use of  these signals in professional installations.

2 channel mixing amplifier with button control and RS-232 interface
Due to its design size the compact Class D amplifier is typically used in applications as:
switching input signals, mixing in microphone signals, passing on a regular line signal to cascade multiple units.

The MMA 220 can easily be integrated in a control system over the RS-232 interface or IR signals.

In AV applications high voltage (230 V) loads often have to be controlled.
This can be motors for projection screens, blinds or fans.
It can also be for dimming of lighting - directly or indirectly by phase control dimming using 0 - 10 V control voltages.

It is important that these functions can be controlled not only by the centralized control system, but can also be controlled locally by simple push buttons.
Mixed operation is often required and with these units it is easy to implement. The key inputs are optically isolated, so they can be used in wet areas.

Each module has a bus interface. Thus, up to 32 modules can be connected quickly and easily with each other. The bus interface can be controlled up to a distance of 1000 m with a twisted pair cable. This offers many advantages.

Although designed for use in electrical sub-distribution, the modules can also be used in 19" racks using a simple adapter.

The ISE in Amsterdam is the AV industry's main event. 
Last week, over 700 exhibitors presented trends and new products for 2011
in what is now the world's premiere AV tradeshow.

Live presentations and our exhaustive tests have proven that there is virtually no perceptible difference in image quality between the original image directly at the source, and the transmitted image at the end of the IP route.
 
A true test which distinguishes good from poor IP signal transmission systems can be seen when transmitting detail-rich content, like Excel charts.  Most systems on the market have difficulties with this, and as such cannot produce an acceptable image quality on the reception point display. Higher Brightness levels and greater viewing angles

Front projection in high-light environments is a challenge which can only be mastered by using high-end screen material which does not reflect ambient light.  There is a demand for such solutions, as interior designers, architects and builders alike all prefer to have their presentation rooms flooded with plenty of light, not darkened.  Dnp has come to the rescue with a great solution for such applications, the new 23-23 screen material for their award-winning Supernova!

The new material has been developed in response to customer requests for a higher-gain screen for use with smaller projectors. By addressing the limitations of existing screen materials, such as hot-spotting, shimmering surface or too narrow viewing cone, the Supernova 23-23 material gives a high quality viewing experience when combined with a smaller projector, thus reducing the total cost of the installation.

Global Caché’s IP-Bus devices have become well-established
as a key component in many control system solutions for
audio-visual applications and in building automation systems.

Small, economically priced, multi-purpose and deployable in

Control concepts in the conference room or in the private home often involve the operation of home automation as well as that of lights, blinds and heating/air condition. The physical connection of these components and systems is usually carried out in an existing electrical cabinet.

The ProSWITCH Bus Device is designed to simplify this connection process. It attaches on the mounting rail like an automatic circuit breaker saving you the circumstantial cabling from the 19" rack to the electrical cabinet. This device allows for a single network cable to be sufficient.

Brightly lit rooms and front projection:  two demands which seem incompatible.  It is often the case with high-end board- and conference rooms, that for aesthetic reasons the room is flooded by natural light with little or no possibility to darken the room for front projection.  Rear projection is often not possible for reasons of space. What is an integrator to do?
